
PAYMENT INFO : You are purchasing items from my jewelry line, Peripherie, and all payments are handled by a Paypal account. Payments go through our parent company, Thoughts, which has an established account for over 8 years. You do not need a Paypal account in order to purchase, we accept all major credit cards and checking accounts through the Paypal system. You are sent a confirmation email, from our website as well as Paypal, confirming your order. Make sure to add us to your safe list (tiffany{!at}ontheperipherie.com) so that you don’t miss these emails. Once your order is processed and ready for shipping, you will receive just one more email confirming this (along with your shipment date). We like to keep you “in the loop” when you shop with us. No other emails will be sent, no sense in bombarding you…right?
TAX : If you are purchasing items from within the State of California, there will be 9.75% tax added to your purchase. This is calculated by the Paypal system, and will be added once your shipping address has been determined. If your item is being shipped outside of CA, no tax will be added.
SHIPPING & PACKAGING INFO : Shipping is simply $2.00 for our jewelry within the US, up to 2 items. If you purchase more, then we send your package Priority for $5. Please inquire about charges for shipping oversees. We only charge actual shipping fees, never any inflated costs. We usually send items out USPS First Class Mail, with Delivery Confirmation, the very next business day after you purchase/pay. If you want something sent faster, please let us know and we will negotiate on a carrier and cost. If you have ordered a custom item, we will let you know when the item will shipped out, based on the project and supplies on hand. All of our jewelry comes packaged in the following manner (see below), other than rings which are delivered in a reusable tin. Gift packaging is available upon request for $5/each item – just let us know upon checkout.

WHAT HAPPENS AFTER THE PURCHASE : I stand by all of the items I sell. If you have a problem, let me know and I will work through it. Repairs are available for a small fee, unless they are due to workmanship…in which case I offer them free and you simply pay shipping costs. If something arrives from the postal service in horrible shape (obviously from shipping), and you took insurance, then please file a claim with the USPS. If it is evident that the error was on my part, then communicate with me and we can work something out. I always try to be fair, to listen to my customers, and to address issues as quickly as possible.
WYSIWYG : We really try to take good photos of our jewelry, with additional pictures offering details in the workmanship & color. We ask that people take into account that different monitors will show colors in so many variations. Please try to take this into consideration when shopping with us. If you have a question about an item, please contact us and we are happy to explain it in detail to assist in your purchase.
CUSTOM PROJECTS : I am more than happy to create a custom piece for you. It can either be a variation on something already for sale, or something that you want created brand new. Depending on the size of a project & the materials involved, a 20% deposit may be requested. Please contact me with any questions that you may have.

WHAT’S IN YOUR CLAY?: We have worked with various types of clay, in designing our new polymer clay pendants & jewelry, and have chosen Studio by Sculpey because of its high quality. There are no animal-by-products in their clay, and they are never tested on animals. This is another important reason why we chose them. Our jewelry – whether created using clay or vintage elements – is always intended for teens & adults, and is not suitable for children due to small parts that might be unsafe for them to handle.
